A hummingbird nest appeared on the lamppost in front of our house
(I was sure it was proof that love lived there).
When we ended the relationship, the nest remained,
but the hummingbirds did not.
I installed birdbaths in front of my room during the
artistic residency
so that they would never stop appearing on my balcony.
